Charley's Fund

Mission: we direct money into the hands of researchers who have the best shot at developing a treatment or cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Our goal is to cure DMD in time to save Charley's life and the lives of thousands of boys like him.

Watch Charley's Mom on MSNBC

Charley's highly auspicious birthday helped us raise $72,000!  Thanks to a TV spot on MSNBC, multiple celebrity Tweets, friends who spread the word via e-mail and FB, and a powerful youtube video called "A Wish for 11-11-11", we now have hundreds of new supporters in the fight to end Duchenne and save Charley's life.  If you missed it on 11/11/11, watch Tracy's interview with Martin Bashir.

For the past seven years, with your help we have been funding medical research in the hope of finding a treatment that could save Charley’s life and the lives of thousands of children like him who have been struck by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Now, we have arrived at a crucial turning point. Human clinical trials are finally underway.

Muscle Up...It's Crunch Time!

This fall, we launched Muscle Up! -- a $5 million fundraising campaign to help us fund clinical trials for kids with Duchenne.  Our goal is to ensure that Charley and all boys with Duchenne have viable treatment options very soon.
